Helping save lives in contract aviation

Brief

Flight Safety Foundation (FSF) is an independent non-profit that exists to champion global aviation safety. In 2010, FSF established the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) for aviation operators providing contract services, particularly within the onshore resources industry.

Over the past 11 years, Cole Lawson has supported FSF in establishing BARS as an authority in contract aviation risk management and growing its portfolio of member organisations, industries and aircraft operators. We are proud to have been part of the journey to help FSF improve safety standards and outcomes for the millions of passengers who rely on the contract aviation sector every year.

Strategy and Execution

Throughout our partnership with FSF, Cole Lawson has positioned FSF as an authority in contract aviation and BARS as the single aircraft auditing standard for the insurance, energy, government, defence, humanitarian, agriculture, corporate, and emergency sectors through traditional media and owned channels.

This has been achieved through:

  • Media relations training and outreach
  • Paid and organic social media strategies and schedules
  • Collateral creation (including creative assets, website content, B2B collateral, media releases, video content, surveys and presentations.
